At the Conference for Research on Choreographic Interfaces, Stephan Moore showed Performance Portrait: Live as well as a new work Chorus for Untrained Operator, which he made in collaboration with artist Peter Bussigel. The conference was March 4 and 5, 2016 at Brown University.
Performance Portrait: Live
Stephan Moore created the interaction design for Performance Portrait: Live, which features video recordings of performers who react based on the tracked movements of spectators. The installation runs February 25, 26, and 27, 2016 at Connecticut College.

Seven-time Academy Award winning sound designer Gary Rydstrom sat down with Sound Arts and Industries director Jacob Smith in our podcast episode released on January 29, 2016. Rydstrom is famous the world over for his work on Saving Private Ryan, Jurassic Park, Terminator 2, and Titanic. Rydstrom discussed his career, his recent work on Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Strange Magic, and his enthusiasm for the Master’s program in sound at Northwestern.
