Hobson/Lucas Soundstage
Adjacent to WNUR-FM, this newly renovated 1,700 square foot sound studio and performance space can accommodate anything from a radio monologue to an 18-piece orchestra. SAI students use this space for classes and recording projects.

Northwestern SoundTank
Within the main office of our program, we have a computer editing lab with 12 workstations. We also have 3 additional editing stations and access to a patio during the day.

Virtual Sound Room (ViSoR)
This state-of-the-art room opened at the Center for Audiology, Speech, Language, and Learning. It contains 16 microphones, 33 speakers, and 4 subwoofers, using studio simulations to mimic real-world scenarios. SAI partners with the Center for the course Multichannel Sound Environments, bridging the gap between art and science.

Knowles Hearing Center
